Hi Dream Girl,
I would like to file a formal complaint against the version of goal setting that convinces us a new year automatically comes with a new personality. 😂
January 1st arrives and suddenly we’re waking up at 6 AM, drinking water, working out, journaling, meal prepping, saving money, reading 30 pages a day and apparently becoming fluent in French before breakfast.
This is the year.
Until…
a random Wednesday happens.
You’re tired.
The workout doesn’t happen.
The routine gets weird.
You miss two days.
And somehow the woman who was going to reinvent her entire life by March is now waiting for Monday to “start fresh.” 😭
So no, I don’t think you need another list of pretty habits that only work when you’re wildly motivated.
If 2027 is going to be the year you actually hit your goals instead of repeatedly setting them, your habits need to work on the boring days too.
These are the 11 I’d build the year around.

The AHA
Your goals don’t change your life. The things you repeatedly do after setting them do.
1. She Picks Fewer Goals
Your Dream Girl does not need 27 priorities.
Because 27 priorities = no priorities. 😂
Pick the goals that would actually change something meaningful about your life and give them enough attention to work.
There’s a difference between having a lot of dreams and trying to execute all of them at once.
You can want everything.
You just don’t have to build everything this quarter.
Fewer goals. More energy. Better execution.
2. She Plans Before the Week Starts
Don’t make Monday morning responsible for figuring out your entire life.
Before the week starts, decide:
What actually matters?
When will you work on it?
What could realistically get in the way?
A goal gets much harder to ignore once it has a Tuesday at 3 PM attached to it.
THAT Girl doesn’t just have goals.
She gives them somewhere to live.
3. She Turns Every Goal Into a Next Move
“Get in shape” isn’t an action.
“Walk for 30 minutes after breakfast” is.
“Start my business” is enormous.
“Finish the sales page Tuesday” is doable.
When a goal feels intimidating, stop staring at the whole mountain.
Ask:
What’s the next visible action?
Then do that.
The psychology
Your brain has a much easier time acting on a clear next step than an enormous identity-sized goal.
4. She Keeps Tiny Promises
One of the fastest ways to stop trusting yourself is to keep making huge promises you only keep when you’re extremely motivated.
So make the promise smaller.
Ten minutes.
One page.
One workout.
One email.
One important task before you scroll.
Small doesn’t mean meaningless.
Every kept promise becomes evidence that you’re a woman who follows through.
And that evidence adds up.
5. She Makes the Right Thing Easier
Put the workout clothes out.
Charge the laptop.
Prep breakfast.
Delete the app.
Clean the desk.
Put the water where you’ll actually drink it.
Sometimes we make good habits require twelve unnecessary decisions and then blame ourselves for not being disciplined enough.
Girl. Help yourself. 😂
Your environment is either supporting Future You or making her work overtime.
6. She Plans for Her Tired Self Too
This one matters.
We love creating routines for the girl who slept eight hours, feels incredible, has zero surprise responsibilities and apparently lives inside a Pinterest morning routine. 😂
But what happens when you’re tired?
Create a minimum version.
Can’t do the full workout? Walk for 15 minutes.
Can’t work for three hours? Give the goal 30 focused minutes.
Can’t complete the whole routine? Keep the one part that matters most.
A good plan shouldn’t only work on your best day.
It should help you stay connected to the goal on your normal ones.
7. She Tracks Evidence, Not Just Results
The scale didn’t move.
The post didn’t go viral.
The business hasn’t exploded yet.
Okay.
But did you show up?
Did you keep the promise?
Did you make the uncomfortable decision?
Did you do something the old version of you usually avoided?
That counts.
Results can lag.
Evidence starts immediately.
And if you only allow the final result to count, you’ll miss all the proof that you’re already changing.
DATE NIGHT: BOOKED 💗
It's a date.
Your 2027 Dream Life Date is ready. Go pick the drink. I'll bring the questions.
START MY DREAM LIFE DATE →8. She Stops Letting One Bad Day Become a Bad Month
Missed Monday?
Okay.
Resume Tuesday.
No ceremony required.
No buying a fresh planner.
No waiting until the first of next month while your goals sit there like, girl??? 😂
Consistency isn’t never getting off track.
It’s getting better at coming back.
The faster you resume, the less power one imperfect day has over your life.
9. She Protects Time for What She Says Matters
If your dream only gets whatever time nobody else wanted, it’s going to grow very slowly.
Put it on the calendar.
Protect the hour.
Say no sometimes.
Stop giving your best energy away and expecting your biggest dream to thrive on leftovers.
At some point, your priorities have to become visible in your schedule.
The dream has to enter the calendar.
10. She Checks In With Herself Every Week
Once a week, ask:
What did I say I would do?
Did I do it?
If not, what actually happened?
No shame spiral.
No dramatic declaration that you’re lazy, broken or incapable of change.
Just information.
Maybe the goal was too big.
Maybe your environment worked against you.
Maybe you overscheduled yourself.
Maybe you simply need to try again.
Accountability isn’t punishment.
It’s paying enough attention to yourself to adjust.
The goal isn’t to judge yourself every week. It’s to stop disappearing from your own plans.
11. She Makes One HER Decision Every Day
This might be the habit underneath every other habit on this list.
Every day, ask:
What’s one decision the woman I’m becoming would recognize?
Maybe she takes the walk.
Sends the email.
Cleans the room.
Saves the money.
Turns the phone off.
Goes to bed.
Stops explaining her no.
One decision doesn’t look like a transformation.
But stack enough of them?
Suddenly your life starts looking suspiciously like the one you kept saving on Pinterest. 👀
Your 2027 Glow-Up Needs More Than Goals
You don’t need to become THAT Girl on January 1st.
You don’t need a perfect year.
And you definitely don’t need to wake up motivated for the next 365 days.
You need to get really good at something much less glamorous:
following through on the life you keep saying you want.
Pick fewer goals.
Make the next step obvious.
Plan for your tired days.
Keep small promises.
Come back quickly.
Pay attention to what’s working.
And keep making decisions your future self would recognize.
Because the biggest flex at the end of 2027 won’t be having the prettiest goals list.
It’ll be looking around at your actual life and realizing:
Wait…I really did what I said I was going to do. 💗
Ready to stop starting over?
Your Accountability Bestie Guided Plan-Her helps you turn your THAT Girl goals into daily action, check in with yourself, and actually follow through.
